2D (Disney) feature animation finally comes back!
Saw it on the opening night.
For me that was more than enough to go see it.
And I can say I loved it. It made me happy. Very happy!
It was beautiful...3D features are looking good these days
but 2D surely has different kind of magic.
To see it on big screen makes it even more magical.
Of course it can't be perfect. Story and emotions seems to rush a bit
making it kinda hard to relate with main characters.
Music wasn't bad but not the best. Bit bland?
It worked great with the animation but there isn't very memorable melody.
Still, all characters are charming and lovable in their own ways,
making us laugh here and there.
I personally hope there were more scenes with Dr.Facilier in it.
He's very fun to look at!
And I want to see it again!

the plot and tunes were probably not as amazing because most likely, disney thought "gah if we're gonna make a 2D movie lets make it quick so we can create another genaric CG movie about outcasts and such! that be where the REAL money lie!" (don't ask why I made Pixar a gang of pirates XD)
Going to see it soon, can't wait because it looks brilliant and I feel like I need a change of style for the christmas holidays!
People don't watch movie because it's 3D, most people watch it if it's amusing and interesting.
And I'm sure they did take time on writing songs and story. Nothing's perfect^^
I loved it in overall.
